Plain-language privacy
Your saved images are not our data.
Image Saver is designed to do its image work in Chrome. This policy separates the extension, this website, support email, and the Chrome Web Store because each has a different data boundary.
1. The Image Saver extension
Image and page data
Image discovery, generated previews, editing, and supported conversions run inside the extension. Image Saver does not operate an image-upload or conversion service.
Chrome or Image Saver may still request the selected file from its source website. That website can receive the normal information associated with a web request, such as your IP address, request headers, and the requested URL. Image Saver cannot control the source website's practices.
Local and session storage
Preferences and save recipes are stored in Chrome's local extension storage for that browser profile. Current jobs, bounded receipts, permission leases, scans, and selected targets use session-only extension storage. Session state does not survive a browser restart or extension reload.
Permissions
Current-page access begins after you invoke the extension. Image Saver has no install-time, persistent all-sites host grant. It may ask for one exact image-host origin when a conversion needs direct access, then remove the temporary grant after dependent work. Clipboard write access is optional and requested only when you choose Copy PNG. See the full permission explanations.
2. This website
Image Saver does not add cookies, analytics, advertising, embedded support widgets, tracking pixels, or forms to this website. We do not use the site to build behavioral profiles.
The hosting and network providers that deliver imagesaver.app necessarily process request information such as IP address, browser headers, time, requested URL, and security signals. Their infrastructure may retain operational or security logs under their own terms and policies.
3. Email support and security reports
If you email us, your address, message, attachments, and ordinary email metadata are processed by the forwarding and mailbox providers used to deliver and answer the message. We use that information to respond, investigate the issue, prevent abuse, and retain a necessary record of the conversation. Do not send passwords, access tokens, private images, or other information we do not need.
4. Chrome Web Store
The official Chrome Web Store listing has been submitted and is pending review. Google may process listing views, installs, uninstalls, reviews, and other Store activity under Google's terms and privacy policy. Those Store systems are separate from the Image Saver extension runtime.
5. Sharing, sale, and legal requests
Image Saver does not sell personal information. Because there is no developer-owned extension telemetry or image service, there is no such extension activity dataset to sell or share. Information sent by email may be disclosed to service providers needed to operate email and hosting, to investigate abuse or security issues, or when legally required.
6. Retention, choices, and changes
You can remove extension preferences by clearing extension data or uninstalling Image Saver. For an email-related access, correction, or deletion request, contact support and identify the conversation. Some records may be retained where needed for security, legal obligations, or dispute resolution.
Material changes to this policy will appear here with a new effective date. We will update the policy before adding website analytics, forms, an account system, or any developer-owned extension service.
